The Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2018 has a surprise for the cell phone lovers, the Leagoo S9 and the S9 Pro.

Built by Chinese brand LEAGOO, a company founded in 2009 dedicated to research and development of smart devices. This brand it is getting to know in the western hemisphere for establishing a global official partnership with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club in August 2017.

The look

The first thing that draws attention to this smartphone is that developers seem to have copied almost everything about how it looks Apple´s iPhone X design, while the name of the devices reminds of the Samsung Galaxy S9, presented in the same exhibition a few days earlier.

The Price

Compared to its competitors, Leagoo S9 has a price of only $150. Keep in mind, that Apple´s iPhone X reached the market from $999 to $1149 and the Samsung S9 it is available at a pre-order price for $719.99 (model S9) and 839.99 (model S9+).

This is a very low price for a smartphone with Android Oreo, 5.8-inch screen, working memory of 4 GB and a 13-megapixel camera. The front camera, on the other hand, allows you to unlock the device using facial recognition.

However, remember, for example; one the most exciting features of the Samsung S9, the camera that adapts like a real eye, able to record in slow motion and adapt to the light as if it was a real eye, or the real translation app, mind-blowing.

The Apple´s iPhone X like the old saying, don´t fall far from the tree. Features like Face ID, Super Retina Display or my personal favorite, Wireless Charging, makes this a tough one to beat.
